ABOUT ME

Protecting data, shaping images, serving the story

Filip Orlandic is a digital imaging technician, workflow specialist and dailies colourist committed to delivering every frame with precision, quality, and creative intent. Since 2008, he has been involved in digital imaging and has worked with major studios, including Sony Pictures and Paramount, on theatrical releases and high-profile productions. Filip earned a Bachelor's degree from the Academy of Arts in Belgrade, where he specialized in Cinematography within the Department of Camera.

He designs robust workflows from capture to long-term storage, integrating tools like checksum-verified transfers and live grading for colour and metadata consistency, color management, and seamless collaboration across production and post. Filip’s expertise includes camera setup, on-set grading, quality control, exposure control, and rapid transcoding, alongside secure triple-redundant backups to protect original camera negatives and audio files.

Calm under pressure and meticulous in detail, he bridges the gap between on-set creativity and post-production, ensuring the director’s and DOP’s vision is preserved from the shoot to the final delivery. Filip is a member of the Serbian Film Commission and The Association of Film Artists of Serbia.
